We started using icEdge in 2020 in order to have an online tool for our virtual platform that would develop global communication skills while strengthening student engagement in our entry level courses. What we got was much more. This was not just an assessment tool but a personal learning tool. Not only were our students better prepared to work together effectively in their next level courses, but icEdge strengthened their career readiness. The students were developing skills that are usually only learned through a study abroad experience, a study abroad experience led by a stellar and well equipped instructor.
